Taylor Steele’s Innersection project was not only a huge success but it brought about a brand new way to create surf movies. Not only was a full length feature film created from dozens and dozens of entries but the film has premiered all over the world including here in New York. And still, the fun isn’t over. Thanks to Go Pro, one of the surfer/filmmaker teams will walk away with $100,000 for being voted the best submission.

Voting ends this weekend and a winner will be announced on March 2nd. According to executive producer of Innersection, Nathan Myers, it’s neck and neck for first place and every vote counts.

“Heaps more votes have piled on since we last announced a dead-tie for first place and $100k.” says Nathan. “And guess what? It’s STILL dead tied. I seriously can’t believe this. Voting closes Friday night, PST.”

Once a winner is announced, what happens then you ask? Well, Taylor Steele has some insight on that.

“Next month we’re starting it all over again,” says Taylor. “I guess we’re beyond the point of still calling this thing an experiment, but sometimes it still feels like that. We’ve got some evolutions for the judging system, trips for all the qualifiers and hopefully more lots of new surfers showing up with creative projects. It’s funny, but we never really know who’s gonna show up.”

Below are some Innersection trailers from a couple of the top guys in the running for the 100k. Who are you voting for?
