Chuck Patterson Skis at Jaws

Chuck Patterson was a former pro freeskier but also surfs and spends a lot of his time in the water. Here he is wave skiing(?) down the face at Jaws.

I understand that Chuck is trying to be innovative and putting his experience of skiing and big wave surfing together but hopefully this is just a one and done situation.
