Flynn Novak’s Backflip aka Flinstone Flip

Flynn Novak has been trying to land this air for over 8 years and it looks like he’s finally getting the hang of it. Dubbed the “Flinstone Flip”, this air is the first true backflip in surfing and it is absolutely ridiculous.

Props to Flynn on stomping it out.

A whole bunch of guys trying Flynnstone flips this week near HB pier. No wins yet but my brother is getting close, real close.
