Weekend Links

This is the first of what should be many posts where I’ll gather a bunch of recent links from around the web and compile them in one place for all ya’ll. 

• Weather: Hurricane Igor is now a Category 4 storm and will likely to send more waves to the east coast.
• Contests: Hurley Pro 2010 at Trestles started today and will continue on for the next couple days.
• Photos: Surfline has two galleries of photos from the whole East coast thanks to the recent Hurricane Earl swell. Part 1 & Part 2
• Videos: Innersection just dropped all new sections for the Fall Round.
• Twitter: A site called Paper.li takes all surfing related tweets of the day and organizes them in newspaper form for your viewing pleasures.
• Events: Tickets are now on sale for the New York Surf Film Festival.
• Photos: Greg from Northeast Sessions put a nice feature together with some good shots from the recent Earl swell in New York.
