Congrats to Korduroy.tv!

I know we didn’t post about this while it was going on but Surfing Magazine was holding a “Battle of the Blogs” contest, which pitted 32 of the web’s best surf blogs up against each other. I know what you’re thinking: “Why wasn’t SURFBANG included?” No hard feelings, Surfing Mag, maybe next year right? Anyways, one of our favorite websites that we at SURFBANG check out regularly, Korduroy.tv is the big winner.

The competition was fierce and a lot of the matchups came down to only a few votes to decide the winner. Some big names were in the running like Nugable, The Daily Stoke, Surfing Magazine, In Surf News, Joel Parkinson, Mick Fanning….I better stop before I name all 32 websites. You can see them all here.

In the end Korduroy.tv came out on top over Paul Fisher’s FollowtheFish.tv with 53% of over 2000 votes going to Korduroy. They totally deserve it as they have an awesome website over there and they consistently pump out quality video and posts.

All I have to say is watch out, because SURFBANG is coming for ya in the next battle. Maybe we should change our domain to SURFBANG.tv?
