We’ve all been in this situation before: surfing a long session of great waves, seeing a couple photogs on the beach and coming home that night or the next day and searching the internet for those photos just to never ever find them. There are, of course, your local surf message boards where photos get posted and some photographers have their own websites or blogs and use services like SmugMug but it’s mostly a crap shoot. A new website called Surf Much is trying to solve that problem.

“Surf Much allows surfers from all over the world to share their surfing photos. The focus is to provide an interface that allows surfers to quickly and easily browse other peoples surf photos and to also upload their own photos onto the web.”

Created and run by a surfer and web developer from Australia, I think that with enough support, this site can be the solution us surfers and photographers have been looking for. It allows photographers to upload photos into areas on the site based on location and date. The photos are grouped into categories based on where and when they were taken. The site is a bit new so aren’t many photos on there yet but give it some time and I think it’s going to blow up.

Check the site out at surf-much.com, become a fan on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.
