Wave Garden

Looks like someone other than Kelly Slater has been hard at work turning the idea of an artificial wave pool into reality. A few months ago, it was announced that Kelly Slater was working on a new project called the Wave Company. There isn’t much detail other than a few short YouTube videos. Now a new company, called the Wave Garden, looks like they are giving Slater a run for his money. Just like the Wave Co, there aren’t many details other then the two teaser videos we’ve got below.

Stab Magazine has released some info saying: “We’re currently embargoed on the finer details, but can reveal it involves any still body of water, a new mobile technology that ain’t expensive to run, and that Jordy Smith and Bobby Martinez have already tested it.”

Looks awesome but I guess we’ll just have to wait for the 15th when more details are set to be announced on wave-garden.com.
