Winter Bliss

Winter is South Africa is not much of a winter at all, at least not by New York standards. It doesn’t snow and the coldest average temperature in Cape Town in the winter is 7 degrees Celcius (about 44 degrees Farenheit) and 11 degrees Celcius (51 degrees Farenheit) in Durban. To us, that’s “praise the lord” warm. However, winter in South Africa also means long, fast barrels and clean ramps. Keep an eye on the barrel around the 1:40 mark as the surfer squeezes out of it.
