Mick Fanning’s Perfect 10
Just as time was running out in the quarterfinal heat against Ricardo Dos Santos, Mick Fanning took off on this bomb and was scored a perfect 10. The score gave him what he needed to take the lead and advance into the semifinals of the Billabong Pro Tahiti. Fanning Wins Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach
After a bomb of a final, Mick Fanning ousted Kelly Slater at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach by just a few tenths of a point, garnering him the chance to ring the iconic bell for the first time in over ten years. More »
Mick Fanning Withdraws From 2011 Billabong Pipe Masters
According to Tracks Magazine, Mick Fanning won’t be competing at the last event of the 2011 ASP World Tour which is the highly anticipated Billabong Pipe Masters in Memory of Andy Irons. Unlike most of the world’s top surfers, Fanning still hasn’t traveled to Hawaii for the winter surf season and is still at home in New South Wales, Australia. The reason for Mick’s withdrawal is an apparent neck injury. More »
