This video prooves that no matter how cold it is or how hard the winds are blowing, if it’s going off we’re getting in the water. More »

Weekend Reggae Marathon

February 4th, 2011 by John Zanussi

There’s a local college radio station here on Long Island called WUSB 90.1 FM and twice a year they throw out all their normal programming and bump reggae over the air waves for 3 days straight. When I say reggae, I’m not talking about the stuff you hear on the top 40 radio stations, I’m talking the real deal, Barrington Levy, Big Youth, Marley, Tosh, Eek-a-mouse, The Gladiators, Capleton, and that’s just naming a few. They’ve been doing this for year’s now and I make sure never to miss it. Special Sauce Ceremony

December 8th, 2010 by John Zanussi

Not to long ago, a shop here on Long Island called Special Sauce closed it’s doors for good. A sad day for the surf/skate/snow scene on Long Island. Not only because Sauce was open for such a long time but because the people who were involved with the shop had such a huge impact on both the skate and surf scenes here. This video is all about skateboarding but I think it’s only right to respect Sauce by posting it up. More »
