Laura Enever Signs With Billabong Surf Team

John John Florence Officially Signs with Hurley [Updated]

Julian Wilson Wins 2012 US Open of Surfing

After steadily moving up the ranks on tour this year, Julian Wilson (AUS) finally won his first prime event since the Quiksilver Pro Portugal in 2011. Wilson defeated Miguel Pupo (BRA) in the final of the 2012 Nike US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, Calif. after knocking out fellow tour rookies Gabriel Medina (BRA) and John John Florence (HAW) in the quarters and semis. Somewhere Near Tapachula NYC Screening

Somewhere Near Tapachula is a great documentary created by Australian filmmakers Jonno Durrant and Stefan Hunt. Fresh off releasing their first film, Surfing 50 States, Jonno and Stefan had an offer from fellow Australians Pam and Alan Skuse to volunteer at their orphanage in Tapachula Mexico. Through surfing, Mission Mexico helps care for children who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or orphaned. When Jonno and Stefan returned from Tapachila they had a ton of footage and put together Somewhere Near Tapachula. Although the film has been out for about two years it will be screened  in New York City on Saturday, March 31st to help raise money for Mission Mexico. More »
