Long Island native John Beattie was a lifelong surfer up until 2007 when he suffered a stroke. Due to residual weakness in his arms and legs, Beattie had to retire his surfboard. New York Surf Film Festival Outlines 2012 Official Program

The New York Surf Film Festival (NYSFF) recently revealed its final list of selections for the 2012 film program. New York Premiere of Quiksilver’s No Agenda
