Another day completed of the second stop on the 2012 ASP World Tour. Once again I missed out on most of the live action since it’s right around when I leave work so if you’re like me this post will help you get all caught up. The waves were good again and unlike the first day the men got the call to get in the water first. They ran all the way to the end of round two and there are some very exciting round three matchups. Rip Curl Pro Bells Day 1 Highlights and Photos

Day 1 of Bells is in the books. In clean 3 to 4 foot surf the women were in the water first and ran through the entire first round.  The men got it started later in the day and made it all the way to the 9th heat of round one. The forecasts are already starting to show some significant swell on the horizon which means that this year could be one of those all-time epic Bells contests.
