Lucid Trailer and Australian Premieres

A guy I’ve been following on Vimeo for a while and posted a bunch of his videos here is filmmaker, Nicholas Damen. He’s been hard at work with Simon Treweek during last year or so working on their first feature film called Lucid.

The film features some top names including Kelly Slater, Jordy Smith, Chippa Wilson, Dion Aguis, Craig Anderson, and bunch more. Damen says the film, “focuses on technical ability, style and our connection with the ocean, from two-foot beachies to 10 foot barrels. All waves in the feature were paddled not towed.”

From the looks of the trailer, it looks like this movie is going to be sick! I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. We will be posting a Q & A with both filmmakers in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, watch the trailer below.

The film will be premiered at a couple locations in Australia.
