“A Hundred Miles To The End” // A Long Island Surf Film

Surfers are amazing creatures. No matter what life throws their way, surfers are characteristically unfazed by setbacks and they never give up. Long Island native John Beattie was a lifelong surfer up until 2007 when he suffered a stroke. Due to residual weakness in his arms and legs, Beattie had to retire his surfboard. New York Surf Film Festival Outlines 2012 Official Program
