Thea headphone game just got a little crazier. One of the leading electronics companies in the world, Philips, has teamed up with O’Neill and they are realeasing a line of high quality and super durable headphones that will be released sometime in the next month.
The line will consist of four different models, and they are, The Stretch, The Snug, The Covert, and The Specked. There are two versions of the over-the-ear style and two versions of earbud style headphones. All of which look pretty damn nice. The two companies are going with the slogan “Tested on animals” for the campaign. It’s a little confusing at first but what they mean is “they’ve been tested on our test animals: the toughest O’Neill riders” and that sounds about right. Even more so because they people they are talking about include snowboarders Jeremy Jones and Ane Enderud and big wave surfer Mark Mathews, all of whom can be considered “animals”!
Still no official release date or prices on the models, but we will keep you posted. If I didn’t just pick up a pair of the new Skullcandy Aviators I would have definitely been considering rolling with a pair of these.
