We might be a little late on this but I saw these fins in a surf shop the other day and they looked pretty sick so I wanted to know some more about them. FCS released their new H-3 Nexus fins last month which features TRICOIL technology, a dynamic flex pattern that effectively stores and releases energy as the surfer transitions from one turn into the next.
That’s quite the mouthful but these new fins are supposed to be pretty rad. I’ve yet to try these things out so I don’t have any first hand experience with them. From a review I read on mesurf.com, it seems the H-3 Nexus fins take a little getting used to but once you find your groove, you’ll notice a significant difference in how you draw power and make turns.
These things will be going on my wish list and I’m sure I’ll pick them up eventually.
The FCS H-3 Nexus Fins go for right around $110 and you should be able to find them in your local surf shop.
