Whenever the swell is up and the winds are forecasted to be West, I usually shoot over the Verazzano and head to Norther Jersey for some surf. This shot was taken in Northern New Jersey in December of 2009. Close to Double overhead and just perfect.
This shot was taken sometime last year at one of my favorite spots on Western Long Island, NY. This wave is pretty fickle, but when things come together it serves up some really fun perfect little waves like this one here, and sometimes with nobody out.
This is another shot from Northern Jersey. One of my favorite places to surf and shoot. This was a shot was taken a few weeks after I grabbed a session with only 4 guys out, right before dark. Perfect rights.
This is a shot of a local kid down in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. I forgot his name, but he was killing it every day we were down there. Boosting all day.
A few weeks back we got a little swell in New York that provided some really fun little waves. This was a perfect little A-Frame coming in at my homebreak with nobody in sight. Maybe due to the fact it was 16 degrees at dawn patrol with 20mph offshore winds, keeping most people at home by the fire.
Montauk, New York Local Leif Engstrom getting some hang time this past summer out East on Long Island. Leif is one of New York's top surfers and you can see him this high on every other wave he is on.
Long Beach, New York only a few miles from NYC, getting some absolutely perfect waves this past fall. Surfed all day with no more than 5 guys out. Great day.

This is a sick beachbreak in Rhode Island that gets pretty damn good every once and awhile. Awesome water coloring that day, and some incredible waves. Snapped my 6'2 clean in half this day.
Just about as good as it gets in New York. This was from a swell from October 2008, that had some sets coming in that were solid 10 foot.
Plenty of wide open space, only a few miles from New York City. This was taken about 2 years ago. While spots only a walk away had 20+ guys out, this spot was serving up plenty of unridden perfect A-Frames.
