The 4th annual Thrust Surf Contest & Art Show is going down all day tomorrow at Gilgo Beach here in New York. Lucky for all the surfers, it looks like there will be some fun waves this year, which usually isn’t the case this early in the summer. There is a full days worth of events and we’ve got all the details after the jump.

The Thrust Clothing surf contest starts early in the morning with the first heats hitting the water at 8am. As always this contest is part of ESA. A handful of artists will be painting the Gilgo underpass tunnel filling in the rest of the blank spots with original artwork. Then in the afternoon there will be a few different bands playing at the Gilgo Beach Inn and there will be some awesome drink specials to go along with the live music. There will also be giveaways from the event sponsors all day so make sure you stop by the Thrust Clothing tent.

The best part about this event is that Thrust is setting out to raise $2000 for the Gift of Life International Charity where the money raised will be used to save a sick kid’s life.

Hopefully the weather holds up all day so if you’re in the area you should definitely come check it out.
