Volcom’s Kickflip-Off Contest Rules Updated

By now you’ve seen and read about Santa Cruz surfer Zoltan Torkos landing surfing’s first kickflip and then read about the short bout of controversy that followed with Volcom. If you have no clue what the hell I’m talking about, then, 1) where the crap have you been 2) go read about it here and here. Good to go? Great. Since Volcom paid Zoltan the $10,000, even though he didn’t really follow all the rules, they are continuing the contest but have made a few changes, including clarifying some of the rules and upping the ante so that the prize is now $20,000.

This video from Volcom does a good job of explaining everything.

Who thinks that Zoltan is going to go all out again and try and be the one who wins the 20 g’s?
