Day 9 Highlights of the Rip Curl Search Pro 2009 Portugal

The waves were going off in Portugal yesterday, some of the biggest surf they’ve seen there in a long time. Who better then the top surfers in the world to tear it up. There were some giant gaping barrels and these dudes weren’t messing around. Parko, Bede, and Owen Wright all had perfect 10′s and a few others like Fanning had scores in the high 9′s. They ran the contest until it was dark saving the semis and finals to the last day.

Mick went on to win the contest, making it his third win of the year and pulling out in front of Parko by 400 points.
